COMMISSIONS

Commissioned art is a personalized creation resulting from collaboration between the buyer and the artist. As art values increase, it can serve as both a lucrative investment and a tangible asset. We accept commissions from private collectors, designers, architects, and for corporate or commercial installations.
To secure your commission, a 50% deposit is required upfront, with the remaining balance due upon completion of the artwork before delivery. The artist will establish a reasonable timeframe for completion, as outlined in the contract.
All sales of commissioned artwork are final, and returns are not accepted. A contract will be provided for your signature to formalize the agreement.
The commission process consists of several steps. It begins with reviewing images of inspirational references from Robert Dionne's artwork. A selection of colors will be chosen for the palette that Robert will use for the commission. It is essential to know where the painting will be displayed, including the dimensions of the space and the type of lighting present. The artwork can be of any size, as long as it exceeds the minimum dimensions of 24" x 24".
The painting will be created using acrylic paints on a wood panel - gallery cradle. Once the painting receives final approval, it will be coated with a UV-protective, 100% acrylic clear varnish that is non-yellowing and has a low sheen. Additionally, unless stated otherwise, Robert frames his artwork with a minimalist black brushed metal floating frame. The backside of the artwork will receive an attached foam core board for protection.
